CORRECTION OFFICERS
IRISH PRAYER

(If your not Irish its still ok to say)

I ask ya' Lord to over see, at work at home at play.
Deeds that be done, both good and bad, on this earthly plain.
Tis my job, and I do it well, to protect society.
From the sheep that strayed away, from your hospitality.

I ask ya' Lord when I'm at work, to hear the words I'm sayin'.
When in need, I'm on my knees, hands folded and a prayin'.
I ask ya'Lord to keep an eye, on the children in my life.
I ask ya' Lord to keep an eye on my precious wife.
I ask ya' Lord for a special prayer, for the pets we hold so dear.
Their lives are short as it is, It doesn't seem too fair.

Protect my friends and family, from the evils in their way.
let not the blackened sheep, lead them all astray.
Saint Bridget and Saint Patrick, could help you with this task.
And all the other Saints, from Ireland's ancient past.

If these prayers don't reach you, my mind would be a prison.
I know you're very busy "Lord", I'll live by your decision.
"Lord" if my prayers are granted, My mind would be at rest.
and I could go about my job, giving it my best.
