When I go inside the gate Lord
Please watch over me
Help to guide and keep me safe
To be the best officer that I can be
And if a fellow officer
Needs help and sends the call
Let my step be light and swift
To help and give my all
When my duties are over
My eight in the gate are done
Let us all return home safely
Each and every one
You have blessed me with courage Lord
I'm someone not everyone can be
The courage to be a Correction Officer
And work for the D.R.&C.
