Many people
Do the job
But aren't seen
By the outsiders

They are the
Police inside the walls
They walk a beat of concrete
And cell doors
But they do protect and serve
They keep the peace
Inside the walls
But don't carry a gun
Just a baton
To protect themselves
They are
The jailers
Detention Deputies
And the Correctional Officers
