Night Watchman Gerrior was beaten to death at the State Hospital by escaping inmates. Watchman Gerrior was making his rounds when he encountered one of the inmates trying to scale a cell wall. The inmate attacked him and strangled him to death. The inmate then took Gerrior's keys and freed five other inmates.
